Page 1 of CSI New York on Channel 5
General Forum
Why the hell is Channel 5 showing this new series of CSI out of order?
I use Digiguide TV listings on my PC & noticed that they were listing last weeks show as episode 2.
Thinking that Digiguide was properly wrong I went to the CBS CSI website to check the episode listings- Here are the episodes as listed at CBS`s website-
Series 1
Episode 1 - Blink
Episode 2 - A Man A Mile
Episode 3 - Creatures of the Night
Episode 4 - American Dreamers
Episode 5 - Grand Master
Episode 6 - Rain
Episode 7 - Night, Mother
Episode 8 - Outside Man
Episode 9 - Three Generations Are Enough
Episode 10 - Officer Blue
Episode 11 - Tri-Borough
Episode 12 - Recycling
Episode 13 - Tanglewood
So far, channel 5 has shown them in the following order-
Episode 1 - Blink on 5th February
Episode 3 - Creatures of the Night on 12th February
Episode 4 - American Dreamers on 19th February
Episode 5 - Grand Master 26th February
Episode 2 - A Man A Mile on 5th March
Episode 8 - Outside Man on 12th March
what happened to 6 & 7?
Why the hell are they showing this out of order?
Why did it take 5 weeks to show part 2?
the only reason I can think of is that something happened in the news that they thought it might be insensitive to show a particular episode.
Anyone shed any light of this? :/
Episode 6 is on 19th March according to Digiguide
Can`t shed any light, but this is yet another second rate show. Why they feel the need to sully the original, decent show with the crap that is Miami and New York is beyond me. If I ever see David Caruso I`m going to kill him, put on a pair of sunglasses and stare into the distance while synth music plays...
I quite like CSI: Ney York, especially in the newer episodes where they`ve added more humour (the first few were downright depressing).
The next episode is directed by Emilio Estevez... bit of trivia that got me excited.
"Stigmata!!! In your eye!"

Completely disagree. I reckon all 3 series are excellent value. My only wish is that they didn`t show them all at the same time, and also show repeats, and on both 5 and living, because i really struggle to work out which ones i have and haven`t seen. The fact that i have some that i got on BT doesn`t help either :D :/
...look into my eyes

RE: CSI New York on Channel 5
I reckon the next installment has to be in the North West, maybe CSI: Seattle, or CSI: Portland. Maybe even CSI: Washington State.
Perhaps with a lovely green hue to everything.
You heard it here first, folks.

Trips to the video store for a quiet night in can be fun. But remember;
* Pick something everyone will like.
* Don`t be afraid to ask for assistance
* DO NOT peer through Mr T`s WINDOW on the WAY home, and LAUGH at him watching BRING IT ON alone with his trousers UNDONE!
Truest me.......... the episodes get better further on in the season.

I watched last weeks episode - A Man A Mile - this evening, although this was originally the second episode in the US according to the list above. I noticed a comment about Fox Hunting having been banned in "England" in the show, and thought that this was only just true by a few days. It certainly would have been inaccurate when it was broadcast in the US. The comment may just have been enough to delay the episode by a few weeks for broadcast here, given that it is a subject that has been well documented in the news here recently.
According to tvtome Channel 5 are showing them in the same order as broadcast in America.
