Best Place to buy Premiership tickets?
I really want to go to a premiership match - any ideas on the best deals for tickets?
Best Wishes

Buy them from the club, generally. Avoid online ticket sites if you can, as they`ll charge up to £250 for a single match.
Just to add, to get in touch with the clubs, find a match you want to see (you`ve got a better chance if you choose a less glamourous game) and search Google for the team who is playing at home. Then there will be contact details, so you can phone them up and get a ticket delivered.

RE: Best Place to buy Premiership tickets?
A lot of the bigger clubs have membership schemes or similar which prevent random people from getting tickets to a game - I know that at Arsenal the only tickets that make it to `general sale` (ie to the public) are those at the start of the season when a lot of people are away on summer hols. That said, when they do get on general sale they are sold through ticketmaster - they are the `official` outlet if you like. Have a look, they have other clubs on there too.

Manchester United have a similar system, but very few games have tickets which go onto "general sale"; maybe the odd Carling Cup game, or European games against lesser opposition. Tickets that do go on general sale are available direct via United`s ticket office. They used to have a text message service that alerted you if tickets went on general sale, but I`m not sure if it`s still active.
Fulham are currently advertising on the side of London buses, so I suspect getting tickets for their games is relatively easy, unless they`re playing one of the top-end teams.

You`ll get tickets from touts outside any premiership game.
You may pay over the odds, but nowhere the same as the robbing twats on the internet charge.
They`re just touts with a website,after all.

You are also likely to get kicked out, as they often sell fake tickets for the same seats multiple times. I have seen at least a dozen people thrown out after buying tickets from a tout for a seat that is already taken. Personally I don`t mind paying ticketmaster £2.50 processing charge, at least i know i get to see the game :p
Of course don`t go to www.cheapfootietickets.com or something or you are likely to pay £450 for a ticket.

There are also umpteen people selling legitimate tickets.
Some may be touts, some may be people selling spares.
They`re not all dodgy.

That`s a gross exaggeration of what internet ticket services will charge.
Prices will range from around £75.00 for a `lesser` game (top club v bottom club) to around £200 per ticket for the likes of Tottenham v Arsenal.

There`s a match picked at random, Bolton vs Chelsea - £395-£495
Either way, £75 is a hell of a lot, when you`ll get them from the club for much less. The top clubs apart, most games in the PL have a few on general sale.
