This is a word for word cut and paste from an article on BBC.co.uk yesterday (except they have put a few more colourful adjectives in there) , which itself was fairly lazy journalism.

a) It never gives an explanation of the term `Daisy Chaining`. Which is largely a euphemism for gay shennanigans. But the author clearly didnt know what it meant or was too scared to write it.

b) the 14 year old didnt actually get HIV from said `Daisy chaining` or group sex.

c) It doesnt actually contain any information that wasnt available a year ago. except for the ridiculous quote

Quote:
And last night, family campaigners said it was yet more evidence that sex education and free access to contraception were encouraging casual sex.

Which is so wrong I dont even know where to begin.

Howw typical to blame the availablity of contraception and education.

It seems to me there is still a lack of education and self esteem in this country.

Shocking, sure. But parents should be discussing the realities sex and relationships with children from an early age. Not waiting til a few years before their genitals erupt in a hormone-fuelled explosion.

See, my folks had the right idea. Be up front, but ban us from watching Fatal Attraction. And order us to look away when the rude bits come on in less filthy fare.

All very well saying that, but this piece was in the paper yesterday too. So who is actually being lazy here?

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

Regardless of who cut and paste what from where, the point I was trying to make that the piece itself was lazy journalism.

See that word `Was` being used rather than `is`? Gives a sentence a whole new meaning.

And, to be honest, the only shocking thing about this article is that people still believe teaching kids about safe sex is encouraging them to go around fisting each other and catching bad aids.

That and the fact that theres group sex going on at schools and nobody bothered to tell any of the girls in my old form.......

There is an interview with a 14-year old girl in The Sun. Interesting and shocking reading.

That girls are changing and times are changing. Without trying to sound like a perv, i look at girls these days and there`s no way in Hades that the 14-15-16 year old girls that went to my old school ever looked like that

Might have been the perms...

As stanz said, what it proves is that at my school it was hard enough to find one girl who would have sex with me. Let alone enough to constitute a group, much to my disappointment.

It was a joke based on the fact that I would have liked to have group (or any) sex at school, but chance would have been a fine thing. We just had to make to with the girls school up the road.

Do people in the throes of moral outrage still get jokes? Or maybe you had to be there......
