Would you support an outright ban on smoking in bars, restaurants and cafes?

I`m just interested as an on-off smoker - whilst I was in New York everytime I fancied a smoke I`d have to stand outside in the freezing cold. I stopped wanting to stand outside, so in effect it stopped me from smoking.

What do you think??

I have the same thing when I am in New York - likewise san francisco..
Its a bit of a pain really - but if I was a non smoker I am sure that I would think it was brilliant..

It`s worked in Ireland. Every time i go home it`s brilliant. Your clothes don`t stink the morning after and you don`t have such a dry throat.

Even smokers in ireland think it`s great as it helps them give up.

The only downside is that smoke in pubs and clubs does go a long way in disguising other bodily aromas!!!

Yep ban it, make them stop selling the dreaded ciggies in this country thats the wasy to go. Although to much tax money for them to do that!!! Not that I have anythign against smokers mind just think it should go!!

Yeah, I hate going out to pubs and a: having to have a shower when I get in, and b: having to chuck everything I was wearing straight into the wash.

I`d quite happily support a ban!

Yup.

I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.

As one of those annoyingly patroising ex-cigarette smokers, I would support it.

When I go out with all my old work lot, all the girls (non of the lads, funnily enough) get through about 20 in an evening. Times that by about 7 or 8 and the area where we have congregated is just minging with fag smoke.
