On tv news we see muslims burning flags and shouting bomb america,and no one was arrested,and to top it all they were burning the cross,i thought we were in iraq but no it was in london, religous hatred supposed to be illegal, oh i forgot its not being done against muslims by whites so its alright,and before i get a load of replys saying im racist,im not,im just fed up with one rule for one and not the other.

i see ur point.. Lets say if tomorrow the whites burn a muslim country flag and burn the muslim religous book.. what would happen? :/

You`d be dead before the flames had died down!

And the police wouldn`t do anything! (Well, it`s hard to look into murder cases when you`re doing 159mph!)

More than likely. There are massive double standards when it comes to "religious hatred" and racism. And no, you`re not racist.

Although, the pull of being able to get out of a comfy bed, hop on a bus/train, burn a flag, shout some obscenities, have a bite at Jimmy Chung`s and be home in time for Neighbours might be too much.

Burning the British flag is tantamount to treason, is it not? So why is nothing done about it? And why are these hating (technically racist) thugs in the UK if they despise it so much?

oh no wait - maybe the best example of people is not by the minority, as surely then you would have to agree that white people are abhorant (hmm let`s see - pictures of people with their feet on dead black people during the sixties as if to portray their `kill`).

my point is that a few of `my` people stand up and act in a stupid manner doesn`t mean it is any better than the people on the other side (i.e. BNP). personally if you were to burn a `muslim country`s` flag (which there is none as they are all secular), i would join you. i would take offense to burning the holy book, and so i would not burn yours, be it the torah or bible or whatever. nor the religious symbols.

part of the reason that some people are here and not `there` is simple - `you` have installed regimes that only care about giving you the best price of oil. these regimes have full power, that nobody want to mess with (including mr bush) so long as the oil is flowing. and so any protest in these countries is drowned out by the sound of gunfire.

disagree? look at uzbekistan, a very real and recent example. read about the UK ambassador being recalled from the old soviet block because he made mention of human rights. read the whole balfour agreement - not just the creation of israel, but EVERYTHING that the agreement was meant to enforce including the rights of ALL people to live there. if i became jewish i would have more right to live in israel than somebody whole family spawned three generations in that land.
