Real have more than doubled their money in the space of a year. Astounding.

Surely Owen will want out of Newcastle sooner rather than later. There`s more that needs fixing there than just a striker, and I honestly can`t see them in Europe next season.

I find it astounding that a proven, young world class striker is having difficulty finding a job!

Made me laugh to hear this,... he really wont go anywhere with Newcastle + turned everton down saying a move to everton wouldn`t be right at this time... lol, what he hopes to get joining Newcastle i dont know apart from keeping his england place maybe, rafa didn`t want him back (that was plainly obvious)... could not understand arsenal not going in for him???

Turn on sky sports news and you`ll see the Newcastle fans are in rapture, they see this as a very possitive thing for the toon, and reckon it will kick start their season.
