Hi,

Yeah, I have been using Teleport - it seems alright, but it will be a lot better when they`ve added more content to it - think its just BBC channels and the Telewest ones (like Living, Bravo etc) that are on there at the moment - but it is handy being able to watch a movie more than once within 24 hours and pause/rewind it.

It`ll be a lot better when they bring out their TV drive (similar to Sky +) in the beginning of next year. Apparently it will be better than Sky + because there are going to be three channels so you can watch one channel and record two others at the same time - or record three channels at the same time.

I`m not holding my breath - for 5 years digital text has been coming "soon"! :D

Teleport will be in my area just before Christmas, I`m looking forward to it simply because I miss *everything*! :D

Homechoice do practically the same thing already, so I don`t know why Telewest are claiming it to be so unique. They do TV on demand on loads of different TV series, old and new of every genre. They also let you replay some shows of the last seven days, but there`s only so much that you can watch obviously.

Suffice to say, the stuff I want to watch is never available to replay. I imagine Teleport will be the same...

You have a point about the digital text - never understood the point of putting a button on the remote control which serves no purpose :/

I think the Teleport is supposed to be fairly similar to the service Homechoice provide but with a lot more content apparently. I`ve only used it so far to watch a couple of Eastenders epsiodes I missed and also the series of Celebrity Poker it has on there. Haven`t really had a good chance to have a play with it but it does seem like there is quite a lot on there.

Well I`ve pressed the `Home` button on my remote and selected the teleport service but everytime I try to access a programme I get the message `Attention : This service is temporarily out of order. Please try again later.`

Is it too early to expect it to be up and running at the moment??

I don`t get why they can`t just make it toggle subtitles on and off for the time being, instead of the umpteen key presses it takes at present!
