It would be a bit difficult as they filmed it for TV and to make it widescreen would mean cutting off the top and bottom of the picture. I would rather have the 4:3 if that`s what it takes to get it to widescreen.

Secondly, it`s probably a bit late to have a petition on it as they probably started work to transfer it already.

Raymond, it was originally filmed in widescreen in preparation of HD TV. They are making it Pan and Scan instead - not exactly the greatest decision.

FYI Buffy from season 4 onwards and angel from season 1 onwards were recorded in widescreen

Petition signed. I`m a massive Angel fan, and would like to see the DVDs get the treatment they deserve.
