Page 1 of I "won" a DVD reveiwer prize draw, but could not claim prize!!!!

I won a Pacific DVD Player in a recent prize draw.
Email from reviewer advised me to claim.
I send approx 8 emails to various reviewer email addresses gleaned from this web site, but all were returned back as undelivered.
Was I the subject of a hoax???? :(

Will I ever get my "prize"?????

The email advising that I had "won" was not from Robert John Shepherd, should I worry?
The only time I have ever "won" anything, (except a coconut shy and a football cup at least 25 years ago) and no luck :(

Will I ever receive this "prize" :(

I also won... Carlitos Way DVD, i just replied to sender Mark Fountain... they do state prizes may take upto 30 days for delivery, so i wouldn`t worry yet.

But Reviewer doesn`t like it when I send mail from my BT address, and they all get bounced back. I have to send all my e-mails via Hotmail. Perhaps you should try that.

My email is Wannado, and this is happening to me :(
Anyway, too late now, missed the deadline, unless one of the mods reads this and can find a way of helping me ;)

Sorry, but you need to blame your ISP for not configuring their mail servers properly. :/

Whenever a new mail server contacts ours, our system gives a temporary error and asks them to try again later. When their server tries again, it accepts it the second time. Nearly all spam these days is sent via compromised systems which do not keep trying, they make one attempt and move on to the next address in their vast list.

Any properly configured server will, yes you guessed it, try again later. But certain crappy ISPs bounce the mail straight back to the user if there is *any* error at all, temporary or otherwise. :/
