Well I have been very impressed from the last couple of games that I`ve seen him play in, so if he can get back anywhere near to what he was before then he will be a good signing. Its a pay-per-play contract isn`t it?
Giggity giggity!
RE: Fowler`s gone back to the scouse
Definately worth a gamble. He`s more of a natural goal scorer than anyone we`ve got at the moment. A short term fix until Owen comes back, prehaps?
It`s a fantastic move by Rafa! :D
He`s been great in the last few games, scored some great goals and if we can give him the service, he`ll put them away better than most - certainly better than anyone we`ve got at the minute.. :D :D

As an Everton fan I`m actually quite pleased by this as I think he`s past his prime by a long way. Fowler has done nothing consistent since leaving Anfield and I think it`s a retrograde step to bring him back regardless of his past form...

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...
And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

I remember back in the day... "F*** Fowler!" well something similar but it had a good ring to it. :¦
We`ll see......
(he didn`tt play this season because, after getting fit, it would have cost City £500,000 in a contract payment to Leeds.)
Anyone (other than a bitter blue.. ;-) ), who thinks getting Robbie Fowler (aged 30) on a free transfer is "a retrograde step" hasn`t seen the goals he`s scored in the last few weeks.. :D
In fact, a rough translation of `retrograde` would be to go backwards. So, are Liverpool a worse side WITH him? :/ :/
Interview link here. Very slow though... (best minimise it and check back in a while... ;)

RE: Fowler`s gone back to Liverpool..
Excellent news - a fully fit Fowler will be looking to get into the England set up and any combination of Morientes, Crouch, Cisse and Fowler will be hard to handle. It`ll be great to see him regularly performing in a red shirt again. :D
