What a shock result...Hearts have beaten Celtic 3 - 0! What a shocker!!!!
Who could have predicted such a score? It just happens to mean that Hearts may pip Rangers to second place
This on the day when Celtic refuse to allow three of their players to travel with Scotland to Japan because Celtic have "two important Games" to to play...two testimonials!!!
This just proves where the heart of this club lies!
Not that I want to accuse Celtic of losing on purpose but maybe they dont want their arch rivals Rangers in CL.... this does happen remember Pompey & Baggies last season, sending Southampton down

The season is over 38 games aljar, not 1.
The Old Firm have no devine right to win everything, something which a lot of their fans on both sides forget.
Hearts have been a breath of fresh air this season and if they finish 2nd then they deserve it.

gordyffc,
I agree about Hearts. In fact I would go further and say they deserved to win the SPL! If it had not for some curious decisions by the owner they probably would have won it.
My point is its stranger that Celtic seemed to switch of for this gameI?

I thought this thread was going to be about the Women`s FA Cup final which for some strange reason i`m watching >:(
... although they have good fundamentals *s.n.i.g.g.e.r* :D (futurama reference)
Hopefully Rangers will clear out the dead wood and make some actual progress with Le Guen in charge next season.

Celtic haven`t played well since they won the league and have obviously lost their edge.
I don`t think rangers can moan about the Hearts result as they had the chance to turn over Celtic the other week and just weren`t good enough.

Hearts wouldn`t have won the title this season, they still lack consistency but if they strengthen next year then you never know.

Yeah because sending them halfway round the world for a meaningless tournament at the end of a long season which doesn`t even fall on UEFA`s international dates makes a lot of sense.
I`m a Celtic season ticket holder first and a Scotland supporter next, and I would rather our players were fit & rested for next season and ready for the SPL & CL.
Brian,
Couldn`t agree more!
Unlike other posts in this thread that is a fair comment.

Yeah because hinting that a professional team would lie down to another one so that their local rivals suffer is really fair. Celtic were beaten fair & square by the better team on the day.
Any suggestion of match rigging is just sour grapes from Rangers fans, face it if your team hadn`t underachieved so badly this season (europe excluded) then you wouldn`t need to make up stupid conspiracy theories :D
Rangers haven`t underachieved this season.
They`ll finish exactly where their absolutely shocking team of has-been`s,never-have-been`s and never-will-be`s deserve.
There was a time when we (Aberdeen) would have been proud to say we`re undefeated against them this season, but it`s really no big deal any more.
As for Hearts....their fans delighting in finishing second is glossing over the fact their club has become an utter utter joke, the running of which is clouded by mystery.
It`s like overlooking your wife being a slut, just because she looks good on your arm. :/
