Page 1 of 9/11 Pentagon Tape to be released....

For anyone who has seen the 11/9 conspiricy theory film Loose change this should be very interesting

]The US defence department is to release a video of the plane crashing into the Pentagon on 11 September 2001, legal rights group Judicial Watch has said.

The US will release the previously unseen footage at 1300 (1700 GMT).

American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the US military headquarters, killing 184 people, after it was hijacked as part of an al-Qaeda plot.

The release of the video, taken from a Pentagon security camera, comes after a freedom of information act request.

Judicial Watch said it would release the footage as soon as it could, but it was not clear when that would be.

The group filed the request in 2004, but the Pentagon refused to release the video because it was part of the investigation involving al-Qaeda plotter Zacarias Moussaoui, the group said.

Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit this February, arguing that there was "no legal basis" for the refusal.

I think theres no point. If they show the actual plane, they probably spent thousand or a crap load of money during the last 5 years to get the video to look like a plane actually did crash.

Screw that tape. I want to see the one the secrect service who ever they were took from that gas station which got the whole thing on tape from a good distance.

I think you`ve demonstrated quite succinctly the pointlessness of releasing this footage; Conspiracy Theorists everywhere will cry CGI, even if one indepandant expert after another examines it, it`ll still be a fake/cover up

EDIT:link now shown. Still can`t see anything. Thought I saw something coming in but video keeps locking up so will wait.
EDIT:nope, can`t see it. something appears, then a ball of flames. Nothing to suggest it`s a plane.

Just watched it, doesn`t really show anything new!

I didn`t see a plane, just a big explosion.

I guess the debate will continue to go on.

Hmmm...
My only comment would be that either Pentagon is a bigger building than I thought it was,or US Boeings are smaller than the ones I can see from my office window every day of the week. :/
Okay,you only see a split second flash of `something` prior to the explosion,but is sure as hell doesn`t look big enough to be an airliner... :/

Don`t understand the "release" of this footage - I remember seeing this clip (same lack of anything resembling a plane in it) in the weeks after it all happened....

This clip definitely appears to come from a closer source than the clip that did the rounds.
At least,in this clip,you can see `something` flying towards the building.

nah, I distinctly remember the pillars and the traffic cones at the forefront of this "unreleased" view...

aha - just watched a cnn clip - the new footage is from a camera on one of the pillars that you see on the other view...
