I haven`t voted for potter, for the simp,e reason it seems derivative of every other theme out there that he`s done. I`ve got for the obvious SW, main reason being the score was a high point in the disappointing prequels

I think Close Encounters Of The Third Kind is beautiful music to just listen to, but as a movie theme, I think Star Wars is the best.

Damn straight, this one needs to be on the list!Well it almost made the list, but you can only have 8 answers - and SL is more like "standard" movie music, rather than a definite "theme" like the others. (....well, that`s my reason and I`m sticking to it... ;) ).

No surprise that "Star Wars" is way in front - but I`m a bit surprised "Jaws" has only got 1 vote...
