Anyone know if theres any plans to realease these on DVD???

Why wouldn`t they? I know I`d buy them, wouldn`t you?

As this film was made in a joint effort by Speilberg & Lucas, it has been decided that Lucas wants to do the Star Wars trilogy first then if Paramount Films (who own the rights to Indy) agree, then a DVD Indy "trilogy" will be released in DTS probably spring 2002

But aside from this, I too would love to own the trilogy on DVD especially as No 4 has now been put back and isnt likely to be released until 2006 !!!

...and I want Denise Richard`s to sit on my face but it doesn`t mean it`s going to happen anytime soon... so just do what the rest of us do - wait patiently.

I`ve been waiting for over 1 year for Miller`s Crossing to get a release date and I`m still waiting...

Let me get this right. Harrison Ford will be playing Indiana Jones in 2006. That will make him 64. If he lived in the UK he would be able to claim a pension a year later and he wants to jump out aeroplanes, climb mountains and act like he did 20 years ago (in 2006). It`ll be more of a comedy than a action film.

You think Ford Is going to be old when he makes Indy 4, I read that Sean Connery has also signed to play Indy Snr.

nobody is going to make indy 4 `cos lucas is too busy and they can`t find a decent script.

Spielberg said he is ready as soon as Lucas is available. So after Star Wars 2 and 3. Georgey will be in (like Flynn). There`s sure to be a 3rd generation of the Jones family isn`t there? A long lost son?

Mmmm I too would pay good money for a close up of Ms Richards double box set....lovely lovely :)

actually there is an interview on the VHS boxset of Indiana Jones and it says the script is finished.

they just need to find the time.

Two points to think about,. Firstly Sparkster`s point about Mr. Ford jumping about in his 60`s, think about the last two Roger Moore"Bonds" it was all his own work (apart from any scenes where there was more than just a raising of an eyebrow required, STUNTMEN!!!!) ruined.
Secondly, how about this for a hand-over of the Archaeologist / adventurer movie........
