You see the small print of "financial commitment required" at one point. How much are they looking at then?

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

The instructor test is in 3 parts.Part 1 Theory,Part2 Driving and part 3 Instructing.Parts 1&2 are easy to do without much expense. You can buy sample papers from Good Stationers.Once you pass Part2 you can apply to be a Trainee instructor with a Driving school and so get the experience for the Part three test.I hope this helps. When I qualified I spent about £1500, not knowing then I could have done it a lot cheaper.

Yeah it was just a figure that I seemed to remember from someone who was looking into it, maybe they were into the whole franchise s*** aswell. Thought I would throw a number out, as a thread with a wrong answer get`s more attention than a question on here ;)

You`re probably right. My point was you don`t have to spend all that to train as an Instructor.I know BSM charge around that figure.

I couldn`t do that job in a million years.
My nerves simply couldn`t stand it.
I find the ad quite confusing too.
They say "earn up to £30k",but that doesn`t strike me as spectacular,is it ?
Not for a job that will entail night and weekend work.
Mind you, buses in Aberdeen are emblazed with "EARN UP TO £16700 DRIVING THIS BUS"
Wow...£16K a year...for shifts and stuff......imagine that... :/
Might not be such a great idea to advertise the fact the money`s s***e,eh ? :/

SPOILER:
Mind you,driving instructor,in the summer,teenage girls sitting next you...mmmm ?
