Page 1 of Dragon: Bruce Lee Story - R1 or R2?

Just been looking at Dragon (want to replace VHS copy). Collectors Edition R1 is £18 at Play, yet R2 edition is down to a tenner, and appears to have similar, if not the same features.

Which edition shoudl I get?

R1 version is uncut, mate - R2 has a little bit of nunchakus missin`, but it ain`t much.

I was looking to get the region 1 version of this great flick as it`s apparently got a ton of extras and a cracking 5.1 soundtrack but unfortunately it`s not anamorphic, bah - so I decided to get the region 2 version which also has a fine selection of extras and the same 5.1 soundtrack but I`ve just found out that`s it`s also non-anamorphic, b`aaaah. When will studios learn?

P.S. I think the other bloke is getting this confused with Enter The Dragon - I presume you`re talking about the underrated Jason Scott Lee film...

The region 4 is also uncut and has all the extars if u r interested. It is also PAL so some say it is better quality than region 1 but I can never see the difference..............hope this helps


If u need to get the region 4 just try ezy in ozland.

If he is asking about Dragon: Bruce Lee Story then only the R1 version is uncut. All PAL versions (R2 and R4) are cut as it was an early universal disc and they only created one master for the whole of R2 and R4 based on the country with the most cuts at the time (the UK)

Do you know if any region has an anamorphic transfer?
