Well this morning my friend Maryann went to the cancer specialist in New York, well it looks like surgery will take place on April 11 in Sloan Kettering Hospital. I will be taking care of her as long as she needs me to be there.So you ladies n gents won`t see me online for a while after April 11th., she doesn`t have a pc. So I guess I am going to be watching the tv and reading books., while she is resting.Maryann is a very nice lady, as I said in another thread we met in a beauty salon 40 yrs ago,, she was a manicurist and me well just a shampoo girl almost finishing high school. We always kept in touch and when one of us needed a friend were we there for eachother.I just hope when the surgery is done she will not have serious outcome.All I ask from you all say a prayer or a wishful thought for full recovery.Thank you, Millie

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I hate answering the phone at work - It disturbs my sleep.
