Tea. :D

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

TBH, I`m with the tea drinkers on here.. My favourite being Twinings Assam. We have Tea at breakfast & at 5 ish in the afternoon. Sometimes we have a coffee instead in the afternoon. The problem is I`m not a great lover of the coffee we drink & we`ve tried a few. I`ve had coffee in some coffee houses etc & loved it, but never quite sure what it is. I really want a nice cup of coffee from a jar, if possible, or at least the best from a jar. We do have an Italian coffee maker (a little silver pot like thingy) that you put on the gas. I like that by way of a change & also one of those glass things that you put the coffee into & push a strainer thing down on it, again nice for a change. But the bottom line is, what the best coffee for ease & quickness?

Try the arabica jar from Nescafe quite nice and fairly aromatic for a instant coffee. Its the one with the purple label, tastes much better than ordinary Nescafe, will post the exact name when I get home.

personally I don`t think that is possible, instant coffee all tastes really bitter to me and needs sugar added to make it drinkable. Instant coffee is also really bad for discolouring your teeth.

buy some ground coffee from the supermarket and use your cafetiere (one of those glass things that you put the coffee into & push a strainer thing down on it)

Sainsburys do some good coffee, I`ve tried pretty much all their own brand stuff and keep going back to their original blend.

The other thing you refer to is a stove-top espresso maker so you need to use espresso coffee in that. regular grown coffee wont taste as nice.

The easiest and quickest coffee is instant coffee (hence the name) but it`ll never be as good as proper filtered coffee or espresso.

That`s my opinion anyway.

I`m no coffee connoisseur, but with all things, you like what you like, so I`d have to say that my favourite coffee is bog standard Nescafe Gold Blend made with Milk - mmmmmmm
Beats anything I`ve had from any of the coffee outlets up and down the country, Europe, across the pond, and down under to boot :)
