Page 1 of Upgrading to Sky HD Help/ Advice

Okay, currently got Sky+ and thinking of upgrading to the HD box but I got a couple of questions and can`t be arsed to try and plow through the guff on the Sky website so was wondering if you guys knew the score.
1. When I went from Sky to Sky+ they had to replace part of the dish to allow the two feeds to the Sky+ box. Do they have to do anything similar with an upgrade to HD or is the box being replaced enough?
2. What are the cost implications at the moment for existing customers? I tried looking on their website and it seemed like there were about 15 combinations of how much they charge you. We currently pay £43 for everything but the movies and their £5 mid range broadband. Currently the phone is with BT (Option 2 @ £20 a month) so thinking of reducing that to line rental only and moving the calls to Sky to offset the £10 a month for the HD channels.
Sorry if i confuse you, I`m confusing myself!
Cheers
Bezza

RE: Upgrading to Sky HD Help/ Advice
I was on full package with multiroom and HD, it cost £62 month. £5 multiroom (discounted) £10 HD and the rest for the full package.
I cancelled the full package as they are going to put that up by £5 in a few months (£67 a month lol) so now I pay £17 for the entertainment package £5 multiroom and £10 HD.
When I called up they offered my the full package discounted for £30 a month for 6 months so there are deals to be done.
As for install you won`t have to pay as you only need a dual LNB, I needed a Quad LNB install 2 for sky+ and 2 for HD Sky + functionality.

I just rang Sky to find out the costs and they told me I would have to pay 60 quid installation fee. When I queried what that was for I was told it was for "the warranty and the cost of the engineer etc"
Do you think I can get them to drop the 60 quid then?
I know a lot of people get it dropped down to £30. Not sure where you stand with getting it for £0.00!
