Saw a very strange thing.
Yesterday. A lad riding a BMX without handlebars. It had a steering wheel instead. His mate was pulling a wheelie (sp) nothing odd there I hear you say. But where ever he had come from and where ever he was going to, it was going to be on his back wheel, as he had no front one. Great control on his part.

Wheelies were a big thing at our school.
Each full turn of the crank was called a `cranker`
So rumours would fly around of Johnny Buchan pulling a `10 cranker`, or whatever.
I was s*** at wheelies though, until I started riding bikes with engines.
RE: Saw a very strange thing.
Pulling one is one thing knowing you can drop it back down if you start to lose it. But with no front wheel this is not an option. He was riding as relaxed as someone with 2 wheels.

There was a lad at my school who could bunny hop around 10/12 people lying on the floor. I never had a BMX. I think I would have been good at it though.

I used to like jumping people on my brother`s Grifter.
One mental lad always used to volunteer to be last in the line too.
Being able to withstand the full force of a Grifter, the frames of which were made from an exotic alloy of pig iron and lead, in the stomach was pretty impressive.
Daft sod.

Do you remember the Grifter`s little brother??

RE: Saw a very strange thing.
I had a Chopper. Fell off it and broke my wrist and grazed half my face off.
