Page 1 of Play.com feckers

Soooo new laptop so 1st thing I buy is Football Manager 10 from amazon, day later notice play have dropped their price to £17.99. Cancelled with Amazon and ordered with play and just in time as next day its back up in price and im in smug mode for grabbing a bargain.

4 days later and amazingly in my account its showing as out of stock, in play (at full price) its in stock, now havent used them in ages and also noticed that i ordered a wii game (Tony Hawks) in June at £2.99 and thats been shown as out of stock I assume all that time and checked out of curiousity and that is showing as in stock at £12.99, called them twice now and am royally p***ed off :(

I`ve stopped using play.com because of them being slow, compared to Amazon.

I ordered a load of christmas stuff from Amazon, and have almost got them all now. I only ordered one thing from Play.com a couple of weeks ago which said it was in stock but it`s still in order taken mode.

I`ve cancelled my order and going to see if it`s in Leeds this weekend after I`ve been to see Avatar.

Never had a problem here either, usually get stuff in a day or two, even sale stuff!

No help at all I know but Ive never had any problems with play.com either, always seem to deliver quickly, maybe Im just lucky with the stuff I buy....

never had any problems, & one the one occasion where they sent a game with no cd key inside (manufacture fault, by activision) they sorted it out very quickly, But, they have allways been fairly slow with the delivery, normaly one to two weeks.

I`ve always found Play quick aswell, quicker than Amazon also!

I have seen quite a few people slating Hotukdeals recently though as Play can take a few days.

It`s funny though as these same people don`t want Play deals posted on there, which is funny as generally the price is being posted on Hotdeals as it`s cheapest price, so either pay more or wait a few days and get it cheaper, you have the option!

Obviously not directed at people here as it`s completely different situation in that you haven`t had your items.

I ordered the new PS3 Buzz game (game for family to play after Xmas dinner...). It had a 4-5 day delivery on it. It now has 1-2 week delivery. :( Bought the controllers too. Could be tears...................
