I know one exists but i can`t find it

According to Total DVD (May 2000) this player is multi-region out of the box.

Quite how RCE affects it is another matter (i.e. whether you can manually set to R1 or not).

Well, it`s a start anyway....

press setup step previous next.. a menu will apear thats it select what you want

This player uses the ESS4408F chipset, which is the same as the Hitachi 505, so prepare to see an artifact or two:)
