An interesting move by Murdoch. He has to be worried this is going to impact his Sky takeover plans to do that.

Can`t help wondering what happens to all the poor hard working slobs at the paper who were nothing to do with this.

Snaps

Every Third Car

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

They`ll be gainfully employed, doing exactly the same thing, in the same office, with a slightly different heading on the notepaper

He said that? Cameron (who no doubt promised Murdoch he could buy Sky before the election) will be annoyed if he did.

You can see Murdoch now...

"News of the World...Sky, News of the World...Sky..."

Bit of a no brainer really.

But they do need an independent authority to monitor the press, because left to their own devices, they will try to get away with murder under any name.

I can`t wait for the UK version of the Huffington Post, personally.

Flicking to Jeremy Kyle earlier, they had a debate about what caused the greater outrage, The notW hacking of Millie Dowler`s phone, or the MP aloowances scandal. They had some moron on from the Libertarian, who said that No-One cared about Millie Dowler, and the whole thing was being blown out of proportion by politicians to take the focus away from the allowances scandal

suffice to say, not many listeners agreed with his point of view...
