I guess they`ve finally run out of people who think we can win if we go hip, those who think we can win if we go naff, and those who think we can win if we use a pop star, or bunch of former pop stars, or some old fart who writes average musicals.

Old crooners was the only option left, other than glove puppets, but perhaps Ireland put them off trying that.

Ireland got fed up because they won fairly regular which meant hosting the event

How about if Engelburt did this?

That would be possibly the best idea ever, however Ireland might complain. :(
