Can any one recomend a VERY GOOD player for around the £200 mark? I have seen the Whalfdale 705* in Tescos and have also read alot about it having problems with playing disks... Really I want a Multiregion player with Optical if poss with great sound and pic. Macro disabled an avantage but not nessersary.

gspinks

I was in the same position as your good self today, after reading jezebabes comments on the Hardware forum I Decided on the Aiwa 370 and after setting it up about 2 hours ago I can not fault it.

It plays CDR, CDRW, Video cd and MP3 region hack is a peice of cake and all for £199.00 from comet, go on make the right choice and join the Aiwa posse you wont regret it.

If you dont you will need to have a serious word with yourself...

Ricardo.......

There is no hack for the 2280 I`m afraid...thats why I`m waiting for an updated firmware chip from Michael at Switch-it-on.

Email him at Switch-it-on if you need a chip, he`s VERY VERY reasonably priced, and ace to deal with. :)

And remember who started the Aiwa craze....
