Page 1 of Nochex- Good or Bad???

Does anyone use Nochex For online purchases from ebay or private sellers.? if so are they secure or has anyone had any problems.

I use NOCHEX and they are secure enough. They take many security precautions when you register. You have to pay 1% of all money you transfer to and from your bank account (min charge of 99p).

I think they`re a very good service.

In my opinion:

Nochex = Good
Paypal = Bad

Nochex actually pay a small amount of money into your account for validation purposes, Paypal take a small amount out. Nochex is UK only and obviously works in £, whereas Paypay is $ only and is currently under investigation by American authorites.

http://www.paypalsucks.com is a nice place to put you off it. :)

Nochex is good. Its also very secure. Everytime someone tries to login to you account using an incorrect password you automatically get emailed with the persons I.P.

I have been using nochex since last september and never had a problem with it. I have bought loads of thing especially from people on Ebay who allow payment via nochex.

I have been using it for a while for buying and selling on auctions - no problems except....
Recently they were upgrading the servers and you couldnt access the service for 3-4 days. That was a real bummer - I find it unacceptable that they were out for this long. Makes it look like a mickey mouse operation. Can you imagine if your bank was unable to access your bank details for that kind of period!
I am still using it - but that outage left a bad impression on me. Nearly lost a sale cos the buyer wanted the goods ASAP. Luckily he happened to bank with the same bank so after waiting 2 days we did a inter bank transfer.

Hi, i am new to this forum and need help understanding what is good about NoChex. I am doing college work and need to include the good points and bad points about NoChex. I have tried to look on the interent, but nothing appears to be helpful. Could you help me?

Wow I didn't even know Nochex was still going. :o I thought PayPal would have long since killed it off.

In the "olden days" we used it because it was cheaper than PayPal. I have no idea if it still is!
