shug (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 9th June 2000, 14:32

hey everybody,

I recently bought a crappy matsui bare minimum dvd player. I didnt know about these hack codes. Can anybody realise how happy I am to find it on this site?

I need to know where I can find hacks for all toshiba models?
My mate has one and cant find a code, will he have to get his player chipped or are all dvd players hackable?

Bloody good website!

cheers

Hugh

AFAIK (and I`m not the world`s expert on this!), Toshiba players have to be chipped.

I`ve got an SD-3109 (or whatever the 2-disc player is called) which came pre-chipped from the shop and works very well.

Thanks for your kind words Hugh.

I`m afraid you are right - at present Toshiba`s need to be chipped for multiregion compatibility.
