Page 1 of New allegations against BBC presenter starting to fall apart

You've probably heard, but over the last few days allegation have been made against an unnamed BBC presenter, that they allegedly paid money for intimate images from someone who was 17 at the time.

Now the person who was allegedly paid £35,000 (and blew it all on crack), has come forward and said that everything that was printed in the Sun was garbage, and they contacted the ''''''newspaper''''' before they published the article to say the story was entirely fabricated and 'rubbish', but they went ahead and published it anyway

So the presenter has been suspended while the BBC investigates, the Sun is doubling down, the former 17 year old's lawyer has tripled down and still maintained that nothing untoward or inappropriate happened, but the girl's mother & step-father are standing by their statements

My two cents - someone thought they could get some gutter-money from a toilet-paper tabloid, but as the facts are coming out and it's crumbling around the Sun's ears, but they've already paid out and want to save face. Did thesed people learn nothing from Michael Le Vill & Cliff Richard?

Looks like The Sun smelt another Schofield only at their favourite public institution to hate on, it would be wonderful if this backfired.

Muck-chucking aplenty. Someone who used to work for Sky & ITV are saying the presenter should speak out to clear the air, but as the actual person at the centre of the allegations (not the people making them) has said there's no substance to the claims, there's literally no crime to answer to, and no investigation needed.

But they'll probably be fired & paid off using licence fee money anyway

I like a comment I saw on another forum, someone wondering what the proper newsworthy story was, that was getting buried by this "news".

There has been a name featuring on Twitter so someone could've taken a punt.
Of course the person in question could also be guilty as charged.

EDIT: Looks like a domestic on both sides. Parents vs. "Victim" on the pages of the S*n, and the missus finally got tired and revealed the worst kept secret on Twitter and named the presenter. I'm refraining just in case it gets rolled back, but it's on the link.
