Page 1 of Spotify

Any users on here au fait with log on and account problems.
I've torn out what little hair I had left over the last couple of days.

I think I'm getting there but apparently I've had two accounts which appear to have cross contaminated each other.
Seem to be sorted on the PC but the phone app is not having it.
Keeps trying to log on to the account I've deleted. Even having re installed the app.
Cleared the apps cache but it still tries to log me on to the deleted app via Samsung with a fingerprint.😡

what about if you go into chrome on your phone, and go into settings, password manager, which account(s) does it have there?

if you hold your finger on the app, did you do clear all data, or just cache?

i don't use the app on my phone so can't be much more help, i don't think it's very good.

why not just use it in a web browser? you can avoid adverts that way :)

I have no idea how I did it but both PC and phone app now seem to work.

All I have to do now is try and get out of Spotify what's happening about the upgrade to premium I put through, which went all they way through 'approved payment' on my banking app.
Did that cancel with the account I deleted or apply to the one I retained which is still operating as a free account.

Isn't technology wonderful.

Long online chat reveals they still had details of payments due from a previous offer I took them up on then cancelled but the card has now expired.

Nothing ever disappears online.

No payments due but can't have the free three months as I've previously accepted that offer.

Looks like I'll have to stump up then.

Stumped up for Spotify in the end.
Managing the music side of things.
Surprised and happy to find a range of audiobooks included and currently into and enjoying Karla's Choice which is a Smiley novel written by Le Carre's son. I still struggle with the idea that it's a book though. Can't cope with the fact you can listen to a book.
Podcasts though.
I've tried but given up and gone back to Podcast Addict. It had it's faults but I find it a lot better than Spotify.
