Page 1 of What would your starting 11 be...?

with the world cup just about to get under way and the first england game only two day away now, i though itd be an idea to discuss/argue englands starting line up. with the squad available, what would yours be?
mine would be:

goals: seaman
defenders: mills, ferdinand, campbell, cole
midfield: becks, butt, scholes, hargreaves.
forwards: owen, vassell.

i wouldnt have that lump of wood heskey as i think his goal record speaks for itself and i also think joe cole is too much of a liability. there are cases for sheringham and southgate though i think.

Goally: Seamansy.
Defenders: Dyersy, Ferdy, Camby, Coley,
Midfield: Becksy, Buttsy, Scholesy, Hargreavesy,
Forwards: Owensy, (Heskeysy for 60mins, then Sheringhamsy)
