Page 1 of Bush DVD 2023

I have got my new bush DVD 2023 to play my VCD`s useing the info in this forum, however when i play an original Jurassic Park III cd which is ex rental it wont play properly at all this cd is Macrovision protected and my set up is as follows the dvd is connected to my VCR via the scart socket the VCR is a samsung this is then connected to my PC`S TV card could this be my problem or is this to with the macrovison copy protecetion, i am new here so appolgies if i have posted this in the wrong forum

it sounds like your pc tv card is the problem, the bush 2023 does not suport macrovision and i can play region 1 dvd`s as well, try using a normal tv with your dvd player.

Thanks for the advice fahrenheit, following a little more thought i have discoverd the problem was caused by the DVD player being connected via the VCR as. I have now removed the rca phonos from my VCR and used one of them to connect to the pctv card with the composite video connector and I can now watch good old JP 3 with no problems. I suspect that alltough the bush DVD dont support macrovison the Samsung VCR does, anyways i can now enjoy both me VCD;s and my DVD`S with no picture problems

Hi cliffc, how do you get youre bush 2023 to play VCD`s? I can play them but have to keep pressing the goto button on the remote, bush helpline gave me a code to type in but it doesnt seem to work. Did u know the bush might be region free, I played a region 1 disk the other night with no problems.

I use the goto method that you posted on here to make the bush play the VCD`S,I did not know it may be region free i dont have a region 1 DVD to test it with but if i can get my hands on one i`ll report back on what happens with my unit.
