Page 1 of DANSAI 955

Have just purchased a Dansai 955 for £89:95 from my local Tescos and have attempted to remote hack it for multi-region with the instructions on the forum.
But it does not seem to work???....I`m wondering if the newer purchases have had a firmware upgrade to stop the hack?
Any info would be much obliged

I will keep persisting with the hack until i either get peed off totally or someone comes up with any more info.

Is this the hack you used, I got mine about 6 weeks ago as a replacement for the Dansai 852, I used the hack and it worked ok. You MUST remember to leave the tray OPEN when you do it. I forgot this bit at first and it wouldn`t work. This is the hack off the hacks section:

** 1. Open the drive tray **
2. Press the Setup button on your remote control
3. Highlight the Custom Setup menu option but do not select it
4. Using your remote control, press the buttons 3, 3, 3, and 3, in order, one at a time
5. You should now be in a hidden menu where you can change the region to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback
6. Press the Enter button on your remote control
