Page 1 of CAN I PLAY SVCD ON WHARFEDALE M3

before i buy the M3 can anyne tell me if it can play svcd or is there any kind of hack to enable this many thanks Jamie

Hi! Very easy,press setup on remote,then menu appears,type 49540 on remote(or 8888 if the first one didnt work),then version will appear on menu,select version,then select vcd,hdcd etc.

thanks nevi but im not very technical what is hdcd and can i take it that this hack will let me play svcd on the M3

HDCD = High Definition Compact Disc

You`ll be fine with SVCD using the hack Nevi suggests just be enabling VCD :-)

Any Euronics retailer should be selling it for £90 according to Wharfedale`s site :)
