Can anyone help me with this?

Hi.
I too have one of these machines, and further to that, I repair them for a living. I have been trying to get a region hack from the manufacturers, but to no avail. I will keep trying, and if I get anything, I will post on here.

In the meantime, if you find out anything, please let me know.

OK, managed to get some info from Goodmans.

This unit is actually built by Daewoo, and is quite easy to hack:

1. Press open on remote
2. key in 0,5,6,0, up, down. left, right using the remote.
3. It will flash up `multi-region` briefly on screen.

Thats it! Unfortunately I haven`t been able to get a de-macro hack yet, but there`s time..............

Have just tried your hack for the GDVD145VCR but it did not work. Is there another code to put into this, as we have some American DVD`s and cannot play them on this machine.
Hope you can help us.

Been trying for ages to get my GTV34RDVD hacked too - have resorted to watching R1 DVD`s on my modded Playstation 2 until I get a suitable fix!! Please let me know if you get any joy on this front.......
