The MiCO. It plays anything and has excellent back-up from Pulse Service, and far more reliable. The pacific - anything goes wrong take back to asda for money back because they cannot deal with it. (Asda should stick to selling food because when it comes to electricals they don`t know what they are doing. Don`t get me wrong, you`ll get your money back - but that isn`t always the point. The 3yr guarantee isnt a breeze either.) You pays yer money....
Trust the Vicar, I originally bought the Schneider 857 from Asda - the whole batch have faulty S-Video outputs and Asda didnt even know what an S-Video output was. I rest my case, your witness. Next I bought the Cyberhome ADL528 from RicherSounds - crap & jerky VCD picture quality even after upgrade, so that went back. Third time lucky got the MiCO - best buy! See my thread for upgrade for this player.

Not quite so.
The Mico does not cope with XSVCD (mini DVD) with a data rate of 4000kbs whereas the Pacific did.

What the hell... we`re talking DVD players here. If you`re into VCD SVCD MP3 XSVCD and god only knows what other crap go buy the specialist equipment !
