if anyone has a phillips 710 and has used the hack on these pages, does it play your R1 DVD`s in black and white? and have you tried the NSTC/PAL switch on the back of the DVD player. My friend has one, but i haven`t tried it yet, but i think it will work, so if anyone could try it and let me know please.

Black and white playback has nothing to do with the hack, and everything to do with the fact its NTSC.
