Page 1 of Anyone got a hack for the Hitachi DV-305?

Unfortunately, the hack for the Hitachi DV305e doesn`t work...

In fact, I can`t seem to get past the cold start. I press "play" and "stop", then the language screen comes up. I`ve tried letting releasing both "play" and "stop" together and separately but the language screen doesn`t go away. If I try carrying on with the DV305e hack (press "repeat", then a numerical code), it simply takes the first number and changes the language to German!

Anyone got any ideas?

I have the exact same problem as you. Have you come up with a solution.As soon as i try and enter the code it thinks Im setting the DVD to german. Can you let me know if you come up with anything.

Some firmware versions of the hitachi 305 are apparently not remote hackable and would either need their firmware changed or a mod chip fitted which can be bought from a DVD Chipping company
