Does anyone know of a remote multiregion hack for this player?

The thread`s a mile long but you`ll get the gist ....especilally near the end.

There doesn`t appear to be a VCD hack.

I have a problem with my hack for my SL20 Sanyo. I put in the cd and it was "updating". The screen went "snowy", wnet into Stanby mode and opened the disc drawer and everything looked good.
Now it is in B&W and also the screen is continously "flipping".
Looks like the tracking is off!!!
Any ideas on a remedy for this issue?

I have just tried the multi-region hack as described in this forum and it has worked 100% perfectly on my UK2 machine.
