This should Zero your Lamp Runtime Counter.

The 'Clean Filter' Runtime Counter has to be reset in a similarly tricky fashion after 100 Hours use. You should have encounted this one before.

Is Urs Meier really Abel Xavier?

É Urs Meier realmente Abel Xavier?

RE: Portugal V England (poss spoilers)

I`m a Scot by birth. I`ve been an exile from the age of 2. I`ve lived in England for 51 years. And I`m an ex Proffessional Footballer (The world is full of us).
The Ref was crap and had been in all his previous games.
How a Swiss official was appointed to this game is beyond belief.
The Portugese seemed to get away with a lot more than the English players. When you deliberately tackle a man when the ball isn`t in playing distance it surely must merit a Red Card!

Yes it was a "Goal" both Terry and Campbell were attacking the ball and not trying to impede the Portugese Goalkeeper.
Video evidence should be used when the stakes are this high. The ability to sue the referee for loss of earnings would also be a plus.

The Penalty Shoot-out
1. The Staccato run up has been banned since West Germany`s Helmut Haller`s use of this technique in the 1966 World Cup.
2. The names and order of the penalty takers should be handed to the officials prior to the Shoot-out.
So a) How come an outfield player starts to make his way from the centre circle only to find the Goalkeeper is going to take the "last" penalty.
And b) Why doesn`t the said Goalkeeper have to endure the long walk from the centre circle.

But then again if the hosts are out there`s less wonga for UEFA`s coffers!

Ho for the purists.... just because the Portuguse "played" the best football it doesn`t mean they deserved to win the game.

RE: sanyo hack for sl20 ?

Hi hansL
A number of people have downloaded the Sanyo SL20 firmware from the brobert99 site. Unfortunately they don`t seem to have any success in converting their machines to M/R.
IS THERE ANY CHANCE YOU CAN POST STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP THEM OUT.
Thanks,
Yanny

RE: Sanyo dvd SL120

Hi Jock, I considered this player but at the time there wasn`t a hack for it.
However as I have a future need for one that size I downed the firmware for the UK1 & 2 versions from the brobert99 site (unfortunately you need a password to get at it now)
Check out the Sanyo sl20 thread in All Forums Search... DVD Reviewer ....It`s a big one ....a number of people have left their e-addresses so you might be able to check out if they succeeded.

The picture goes snowy on the UK model but not on the UK2 version.
On both versions the tray is opened, the unit goes into standby and after switching back on is multi region ...

I have tried the UK2 hack.
The screen display shows "reading" and the front panel displays "update".
The player ejects the dvd then, after a few moments, the player goes into standby

Hope this is of some help to you ...Good Luck

ps. 01/03/03
switch dvd player on so the welcome screen can be seen
place disk in the tray and close it
the player will automatically play the disc, during this time the player will display a speckled picture don`t worry this is normal, DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE OR KEYS
after around 30 secs the tray will open but do not touch anything until the unit goes into standby
