Page 1 of Multiregion hack for Minato G-1?

I don`t know if any of you guys know if there`s a Multiregion remote hack for the G-1 do you? I`ve heard that it`s based on the Wharfedale 750s, but can anyone verify that?

Can you please send me the remote hack for the Minato G-1 as I am banging my head against the wall at the moment trying to get it to work on region1.

Yeah sure Allan,

The hack is, switch the unit on, open the disc tray (with the remote) and then type 0,1,1,1 and then the number of the region you want to switch it to (e.g. for region 1, type 0,1,1,1,1 or region 3 type 0,1,1,1,3 etc.). The only problem is that you have to type the code in each time you play a different region disc, `cos it sticks in the last mode you changed it too, but if it saves having to buy a chip, who gives a damn! (I know I don`t, being a poor student with a hopeless DVD addiction).

Brilliant !! I was thinking of returning the Minato DVD player untill I found this hack.

Question : With the disc tray closed, press the Access button on the remote. I notice that there is a tab called "Program". Any idea what this is for ? (Probably entering permanent hacks ??)

Do you know whether there is any truth to the rumour that any hack may only be used a limited number of times ?
