hello i feel i ought to put in writing to ask people to be careful when
using these hacks! some must work but they have knackerd my
dvdr 1000 so it is now back at philips to what cost i do not know.
but reading the forum it seems to be philips machines that are most
likely to suffer.

in my opinion when buying expensive dvd players, the recorders for example it is best to buy them multiregion, but i can confirm that ALL of the cyberhome hacks work and do not affect the machines, thanks for the advice though.
