Page 1 of Bush DVD 2009

I have just aquired a Bush DVD2009, tried the bush code which brought no menu`s up. But then I tried it with 2 Region 1 discs
End of Days and LA Confidential and both played fine. Dont know why but who am I to argue. Only problem so far is not playing copies of VCD`s.

I wonder if its multi region straight out of the box? Did you try it with any titles before you played with hacking it?

Unfortunately not, but I am trying to get some info from Customer services. Further information may follow

BUSH DVD 2009 is Region Code Free from the box.

This machine will not play Blue/Green VCD`s, only the original Silver ones.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated couldn`t get anything concrete out of the company. Do you know if it is Muti Region Permanently or a limited number of times like the Phillips?

Region free is permanent, Region changeable sometimes has limits, the Bush 2009 appears to be the former.

I`d agree with that.

My player has been playing R1`s and R2`s for weeks now, not a problem.

Just a shame it won`t play my VCD`s.
