Hi,

I have tried the the Thomson region-free hack and it`s works fine, but I would like to disable the Macrovision also.

( I posted a good solution for ones with soldering abilities,
but I would like to use a remote hack if any...)

I dont think macor can be removed on this player .... I beleive macro is biult into the DVD encoder chip

This player isn`t capable to play CD-R or CD-RW discs, but can play original VCDs. The next modell in the Thomson range (DTH-4200) have this additional features plus MP3 playback.
