Page 1 of Pacific 1002 DVD Player - Not Working!!

I stayed with some friends last week and they had bought the Pacific from Asda.
I said it could be hacked to play multi-region and phoned a mate to find me the hack. He had the old Pacific and said to try it. I did but nothing happened.

He later found me the proper hack but when I tryed to turn it on "Nothing"

Its not working at all? Have I buggered it? or it there a way to fix this?

What exactly did you do? and how is it now ? does it power-up and play audio CDs or does the display not light up?

I put in an old Pacific hack for an older model, not sure which and now nothing? No power, nothing?

If the worst comes to the worst, Asda`s 3 year warranty is excellent - they`ll exchange it no questions asked.
