Page 1 of Binatone DP1800 region hack

Does anyone have a hack for the Binatone DP1800 system to play multi-region or just region 1 DVDs please.

This def works . Just tried it on mine

turn on player
press set up button
press zero four times 0000
then press next button ( my remote bottom right hand corner below word up )
new mode version appears
go to this mode and change it to whatever region u want
it will need to be changed back when want to watch region 2 films

Does 8888 work as well (instead of 0000).

This is the same hack that Arlink gave Tom for the Tevion HT95 - sadly didn`t work :(

I`m pretty sure Arlink make the DP1800 as its identical to the Norcent DP1800 and the Arlink DP1800 :)

Just tried it 8888 doesnt work but 0000 still does . have also found out that if i set it to region 0 it will take all region disks withour having to change regions each time .

just got this code from arlink for there dvd-r320. perhaps it works on other players.


Please see below steps to change the region code:

1. press "setup"
2. press " exit"
3. key in " 2960"
4. press " free region code"
