I have just got a DVD player on my computer. I was wondering if this region hack thing works for computers as well.

It is a Hitachi GD-5000 IDE DVD

Can anyone help?

Well I dont know much about PC DVD players, but I know that you can get software hacks for the program you use to watch DVDs with.

I remember a download called "DVD Genie" (I think) and it was a hack program that could region-unlock most software out today.

Search for it dude.
