Try this with the disk tray open. Using your remote type in 0111 then type in the region number of the disk you want to play 1 USA 2 Eurpoe and so on then put in the disk and all going well you should see the film.

I dont think that an auto region remote hack has yet being discovered but auto region and macro disable can be done by means of a chip
