Page 1 of Hitachi DV-P250 - Remove macrovision / change Region Codes

Hi there!

I`ve got a little problems with my Player:

1) Is there any chance to remove the macrovision?

2) My Player is codedree, but since they created
this new protection stuff (dont ask me about the name:),
where certain Discs wont play on codefree players -
I was wondering, if there is a possibility to change
the codes via remote control?

I can help you with the RCE(protection system stuff), but it is rather fidilly,
however regarding the macrovision I am not aware of anything, so if you here of anything please let me know.

CD writer is working again - I ll try that out!

As for the "protection system stuff" :), is that
something for technicans or can Mr. Normal
