RE: Sanyo - pain in the proverbial

Last year I generously provided the DVD-1500 hack only to be pulled to pieces by various un-grateful persons. Therefore I have only distibuted this years hacks to the folowing sources.

www.dvdchips.co.uk

ecivres[at]ku.oc.sreltubjt

And the DVD-1500

RE: Sanyo DVD 1500 Multi region hack available

Sounds familiar!!! Do you also have the enhanced hack that also fixes playback problems such as on Gladiator disc 2 etc??

I didn`t think so!

RE: Sony firmware multiregion available but where?

Some Sony players like the 525 you can have the firmware upgraded. Normaly this will allow you to play all discs including RCE. Hacks or Chips varies between Multi Region and Multi Region RCE playback.

As both require both the same amount of time (as most firmwares are soldered in) to do normally you would pay between £50 - £65 plus carriage unless your local dealer can arrange it for you.

If not try enquiring at:-

or email ecivres[at]ku.oc.sreltubjt

RE: samsung 511 or wharfdale m5?

Except for the below average picture quality.

RE: this one is for the hitachi hardcases

Question 1

Yes: The new Hitachi 315 is once again a Samsung DVD player and is therefore hackable.

Question 2

No Idea and dont really care.

RE: Region hack needed for Sanyo 1500

Yes but got board of posting the hack.

RE: IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHIP WITHOUT SOLDERING

No! Practice first; buy a soldering iron, find some old PCB`s (printed circuit boards) and in time you will be able to do it without trashing your DVD. Or better still get somebody to do it for you.

Sorry

RE: Debiting your Credit Card before dispatching your order??????

Check out their terms and conditions. If it states (as ours does) you will not be billed untill despatch (or day of). Therfore you have them by the short and curleys. Complain to your Credit/Debit card provider for none delivery of goods and/or contact trading standards.

RE: Hitachi DVP515E is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will it Rock!

Has anyone considered that the 415 (US/Canadian) machine is only designed for NTSC. Also as US/Canadian machines arrive before ours chances are the 515 will be both an improvement on both the 505 and the 415. If not it will simply be the 415 with the extra graphics / pixel memory chip in order to deal with the PAL picture.

RE: PANASONIC SA-HT80 5 DVD CHANGER HACK

Most current Panasonic players need to be chipped. This is because of their tie in with a major Holywood film company.

But if you find a disc that works let me know.

RE: Sony DVP-S335

Not all chips play RCE discs but will play Region 1/Multi. If you have no luck let me know and I will try other sources for you. I have a 525 player and it plays RCE no problem.

RE: Hitachi 505 - problems using IronDukes Firmware

Not in work until Sataurday but I will find out for you. The 980 is within 12-14 months old and therfore doesn`t normaly go wrong (except dirty heads etc). Just Curious but why do you want to know?

Most Hitachi Products are now accessed directly via the scart socket for diagnostic purposes and so the service menu is for those without a PC.

Just Curious

RE: HITACHI DV-P305E HACK DOSENT WORK NEED HELP

It would appear that you DVD player is pre August 2000 and therefore either needs to be :-

a) Have the firmware reprogrammed.

b) Have your player chipped.

Recomended contacts for :-

RE: Hitachi 505 - problems using IronDukes Firmware

Oh Mr Ironduke Oh wise one who is p***ed now?

As a main Hitachi dealer who comes across many players each month perhaps in future you could show a little more respect! Things that I post on the site I don`t think up in the pub. Perhaps you do! The idea which sounds daft works on the remainding 100+ players per month that the drive does not ordinarily read on that we sell.

Any Questions?

RE: Hitachi 505 - problems using IronDukes Firmware

Sounds daft but insert the upgrade disc and raise the back right hand corner of the player by about 6 inches. The disc will now read.

RE: Hitach dv-p305e

It all depends on the firmware version. If the player was made prior to August 2000 then the remote hack will not work and must be chipped.

Try www.dvdchips.co.uk

RE: The Hitachi dvp 305 hack does not work!, what I`m I doing wrong?

I sell the bog standard player"DVP-305". (unfortunatly)

Shame that its not made by Hitachi.

RE: Want to change Fisher DVDS-1000 NTSC to play PAL for Region 2 Disks

Most Region 1 player do not have the capabilty of playing region 2 due to
the difference in picture standards ie NTSC -> PAL (PAL being superiorior - (more lines to the picture)). Therefore buy a multi region, region 2 machine and have it chipped, and buy a voultage changer.

RE: Die Hard dvd Any good?

I too remember this seen.

RE: Firmware Upgrade For Hitachi 505 Wanted On CD Rom

If so please email.

reltub.nerraw[at]moc.tcennoctb

I will supply the disks by return.

RE: Sanyo DVD-1500 Hack??????????????????

Perhaps

But AOL etc will not accept the file size. If you look back through the page you will find the 1500 download as a file. As prevoiusly stated this is the last time it will be made available due to lack of recognition.

RE: The Hitachi dvp 305 hack does not work!, what I`m I doing wrong?

If your player was made pre August 2000; therefore the software hacks do not work. Try the early Samsung hacks as they are the same player.

RE: SANYO1500/FISHER1500/GDV120

Very Strange! But they are the same company!

RE: Does any one know how to hack a Sanyo DVD-X5?

Try the 1500 hack as Sanyo drives are normally the same.
