Page 1 of Please Help - does anyone know a Region Hack for the JVC DR-M1 DVD Recorder

Please can anyone help regarding this recorder - does anyone know a region hack for this machine as I am thinking of purchasing one?

Also if you have one, what do you think of it? Would you recommend it? and do recordings made on the JVC DR-M1 play in existing standard DVD Players ok?

Been waiting since release, but looks like nobody has worked out how to make this MR (yet?!?) - many sites/companies advertised a MR but when check they don`t!
Went into Richer Sounds (Birmingham) today - they tried to tell me the ones they now have on sale are MR - I was amazed and wanted clarification on this - and of course it was agreed eventually they are not MR!
Looks like a long wait!
